Sunday 12th July - Today I took part in the Asics London 10k.
I ran to raise money for The Trussell Trust ( www.trusselltrust.org )

The route started at Hyde Park Corner and finished along the route made famous by the London Marathon taking us down Whitehall. Due to start at 9.30am we left Andover just after 6am.
Arriving in London and heading straight to the start we noticed the thousands of people!
At 48mins 13secs I eventually crossed the starting line there were so many people it took some over 1hr30mins to get started!

The route went from Hyde Park Corner down Piccadilly, through Pall Mall past Trafalger Square onto Embankment, down past St Pauls Cathedral to Tower Bridge. Then back up Embankment across Westminster Bridge then back on ourselves down to Whitehall and across theinish.

My time was 1hr 22min13secs.. Not bad for no trainng before hand but next time I promise to train and beat that time cause I know I can do better.
