Race For Life

On 28th June 2009 Melissa took part in Race For Life 5k to raise money for Cancer Research. In memory of Melissa's Granny (Pam Gray), who sadly passed away in 2007 shortly after being diagnosed with Cancer, this is the second Race For Life Melissa has taken part in.
A hard task when in memory of someone so loved and after saying goodbye to her Grandad (Jim Gray) who sadly passed away only a week before.
Starting near the front of the pack Melissa was held up on the starting straight by walkers, but carried on finishing in a timely 41 Minutes! (Could have done better!) Well done and keep up the good work.
